Puppet Show

Florence is one of my favourite cities in Italy and a great place for street photography.

Its a city that I had the opportunity too visiting many times, but where I have always been too busy to take pictures. I like to walk around with my camera and immerse myself in the magnificent surroundings. A creature of habit, I always stay in the same hotel, Albergo Porta Rossa: www.nh-collection.com/it/hotel/nh-collection-firenze-porta-rossa. I believe it is the oldest hotel in Italy.

I love Florence because it such an easy city. Small enough and big enough, it feels alive day and night. With its rich history, you are totally immersed in art and beauty.

Every time I visit Florence I limit myself to visiting just one church or gallery. I wanted to visit the Basilica of Santa Croce, the burial place of some great Italian figures including the composer Rosini, Michelangelo and Galileo.

I heard some lively Cuban music and went see what was happening. It was a puppet show, a real treat.
