While waiting for the car to be loaded and towed, I picked up my book Ikigai. The first sentenced I read was a question. What is our reason for being ? Our raison d’etre, should life need a purpose to make us happy or content?

It’s something I constantly ask my self ?

Why is it that I find myself happier when I don’t think about the past or the future, just the present ? why is it that when we enjoy something time just disappears ? Is it to be immersed in the experience that makes time vanish. Is Happiness a state of doing something that you like ?
